8Hotels and investors secured the site in 2016 with the intent to design, develop and operate a ground up world class boutique hotel located in the heart of the fast growing Green Square precinct.
In collaboration with BKA Architecture, 8Hotels designed and secured a development approval for a 142 bedroom hotel designed to capture a modern hip - urban aesthetic catering to the business and pleasure traveller alike.
In 2016, 8Hotels along with our investors decided to sell the approved site to fund manager Folkestone. The hotel will now be operated by Veriu https://www.veriu.com.au/greensquare/
While 8Hotels remains optimistic on the long term growth potential of the Green Square precinct we felt the offer to sell was well worth accepting when considering and comparing the development upside on the deal.
8Hotels was contracted by Ovolo Hotels to assist them in their acquisition and take-over of Blue Hotel Sydney. The contract included management support in operations, human resources and revenue management. September 2014 - April 2015 https://ovolohotels.com.au/ovolowoolloomooloo/
8Hotels was contracted by Calile Malouf Investments to assist them in the early design and development stages for their brand new 165 room full service luxury boutique hotel located on James St in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
The hotel now known as The Calile is operated by TFE Hotels
